I would like to share my story with you: how I came to start creating jewelry. Three years ago I had no thoughts about jewelry-making. Then all of a sudden, for two weeks in a row every time I was praying I kept seeing jewelry designs non-stop! One morning I woke up and felt God telling me it was time to start making and selling jewelry.
My Beloved
is like a bundle of myrrh that lies upon my chest.
song of solomon 1:13
As I ventured out into the world of jewelry making, thoughts started stirring, like: "jewelry didn't start on earth." Do we realize that jewelry was created by God? He has His own designs and purpose for it. Its such a mystery that the God of heaven and earth would give specific instructions to the artisans in the old testament to create jewelry. The breastplate on the ephod was a brilliant display of well-crafted gold and stones that the priest wore as He ministered before God in the temple. This was a stunning design given from the mouth of God Himself!
It's been so amazing to go on a creative journey with the Lord in the area of jewelry and watch Him touch hearts and see Him speak beauty and identity over people.
What is diffuser jewelry and how does it work?
Diffuser jewelry is a simple concept
It is a practical way to allow essential oils to diffuse near you for a longer period of time. Take the basic elements that diffuse oils and design them into jewelry and voila! Practicality meets beauty. Elements such as leather, clay, wood, felt, cork, and lava stone are entertwined into jewelry designs as a way to hold essential fragrance for a longer period of time than applying directly to the skin. I've had scents that last for days on some jewelry pieces, depending on the the material of the jewelry and the strength of the fragrance. Some materials such as clay can be washed and reused with a different oil. Other elements such as leather and felt are more absorbable and will not be as interchangeable unless you blend it with another fragrance over a period of time.
